Cloud Design & Monitoring

Softlab has expertise in OPEX optimization and cloud design and monitoring. Our focus is on streamlining processes, reducing downtime, and ultimately lowering operational costs for our clients as organizations grow and the number of cloud services used becomes more complex to maintain. Our projects and activities include architecture design, IAM policy, environment configuration, monitoring, dashboarding, alerting, and billing monitoring.

For new projects, our team provides architecture design services, administration of IAM policies and users, environment configuration using Iac (Terraform), initial configuration of monitoring, dashboarding, alerts, and notifications, and assistance with CI/CD process integration. For production monitoring, we provide proactive monitoring for uptime and health checks, resource usage, database metrics, and system updates. We also interconnect monitoring, cloud architecture review, and optimization, DR procedure review, and improvement, as well as reactive support on customer tickets and requests.

At present, Softlab is monitoring 25 GCP projects, with 3.5M daily API requests, 1500 users connected at the same time, and 10 production systems. By monitoring various GCP resources, such as compute engine, Kubernetes engine, Cloud Run, Cloud function, Cloud SQL, Memorystore Redis, Cloud volumes (Netapp), Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Apache Airflow, Vmware Engine (VDI for employees), Cloud Interconnect, Spinnaker, GCP Billing usage, and CUD utilization, Softlab has been able to provide a streamlined production process, reduce downtime, and ultimately lower operational costs for our clients.

Softlab utilized a range of technologies to provide cloud design and monitoring services, including compute engine, Kubernetes engine, Cloud Run, Cloud function, Cloud SQL, Memorystore Redis, Cloud volumes (Netapp), Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Apache Airflow, Vmware Engine (VDI for employees), Cloud Interconnect, Spinnaker, GCP Billing usage, and CUD utilization.
